Is the electric lift table a special equipment?

The electric lift table can also be called the fully automatic lift table. Some customers would ask before, is the electric lift table a special equipment? First of all, the lift table manufacturer told us that the electric lift table was a special equipment before 2014. In November 2014, the relevant departments issued the relevant policies on the lift table, stipulating that the electric lift table is no longer a special equipment.

What kinds of lift tables are there? It can be roughly divided into two types: electric lift table and manual lift table. If subdivided, there are about 170 kinds, such as mobile lifting platforms, scissor lift, fixed lifting platforms, guide rail type lifting platforms, curved arm type lifting platforms, aluminum alloy elevators, sleeve type elevators, vehicle mounted elevators, guide rail chain type elevators, guide rail type lifting platforms, loading and unloading platforms, lifting platforms, rotating platforms, lifting rotating platforms, curved arm type lifting platforms, self-propelled lifting platforms, Lifting platform for high-altitude operation, etc. The lift table manufacturer told us that the most popular one is the electric lift table, which saves time and labor and is safer.

Then the lift table manufacturer will talk about what special equipment is. Special equipment refers to special load-bearing equipment involving life safety and high risk, such as boilers, pressure pipes, elevators, hoisting machinery, etc. The hoisting machinery refers to the electromechanical equipment used for vertical lifting, and its scope is specified as the lifting equipment with rated lifting capacity greater than or equal to 0.5 tons. Before 2014, if the rated lifting capacity of the lifting platform is greater than or equal to 0.5 tons, it belongs to special equipment. After 2014, after the new version of the Special Equipment Safety Law was revised, cantilever cranes and lifting platforms with fewer accidents and less risks were removed from the list of special equipment. Therefore, the electric lift table used after 2014 are no longer special equipment.

The lift table manufacturer told us that we can refer to the national regulations on whether the electric lift table belongs to special equipment: in accordance with the provisions of the Special Equipment Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, the AQSIQ revised the Catalogue of Special Equipment, which is now published for implementation with the approval of the State Council. At the same time, the Notice on Publishing the Catalogue of Special Equipment (GZJG [2004] No. 31) and the Notice on Supplementing the Catalogue of Special Equipment (GZZT [2010] No. 22) are repealed. The AQSIQ is responsible for the interpretation of the Special Equipment Catalogue.
