What do you think of the motor model of the electric pallet truck?
Motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. According to different power supply, it can be divided into DC motor and AC motor. Among them, DC motors are commonly used on electric pallet truck. DC motor has better starting performance and speed regulation performance, and its mechanical characteristics can better meet the requirements of working machinery, so it is widely used in electric forklift. Today, the pallet truck manufacturer will take you to have a preliminary understanding of the motor and see how to identify the motor model of the electric truck.

Careful friends will find that there is a nameplate indicating the model and main technical parameters on the DC motor of each electric pallet truck. According to the national standards and technical requirements of China, the pallet truck manufacturer shall specify the rated working condition of the motor, and the various values indicating the rated working condition are called fixed values. Generally speaking, the nameplate will be marked with rated capacity (power), rated voltage, rated current, rated speed, working quota and temperature rise, etc. The pallet truck manufacturer will tell you that if it is a separately excited DC motor, it is also necessary to indicate the excitation voltage.
There are various types of motors used in electric pallet truck, including ZQ, ZXQ, ZQD, ZZ, ZZY, etc. So what do these letters represent? Take ZXQ40/40 for example, Z represents "DC motor", X represents "battery vehicle", Q represents "traction", and 40/40 represents "rated voltage/rated power". The pallet truck manufacturer will tell you more about the parameters of DC motor. Rated voltage refers to the line voltage applied to the stator winding during the rated operation of the motor, in volts (V). Generally, the working voltage of the motor shall not be higher than or lower than 5% of the rated value. Rated current refers to the current of the motor under rated voltage and rated power. Rated power refers to the ideal power of the motor during design, and also the maximum power under the recommended operating conditions. The rated power is an important indicator to measure the working capacity of the motor. The ratio of output power to input power is expressed in “%”. The higher the efficiency, the more power will be saved. The pallet truck manufacturer told us that the rated speed refers to the speed per minute when the motor works at the rated voltage, capacity and frequency, that is, the motor speed at full load, so it is also called the full load speed.

This is the method to identify the model of the motor of the electric pallet truck and a brief introduction to its parameters. I believe you have a preliminary understanding of the DC motor. After that, the pallet truck manufacturer will continue to show you the various components of the electric pallet truck. If you have the need to purchase the electric pallet truck or its parts, please contact the pallet truck manufacturer.
