Electric forklifts

Electric forklifts are often used in traditional manufacturing or emerging industries. What are the safety devices? We can use it to improve the level of security protection. Today I summarized it. I hope that some of these devices can arouse your interest or be applied to the forklift you use.
   Electric forklift standard safety device
The safety devices attached to the electric forklift at the factory include brakes, parking brakes, various indicators, horns, reversing buzzers, driving flashes, headlights, fork positioning pins, rearview mirrors, roof guards, double fork backrests, etc. .
The overhead guard mentioned here is mainly to prevent falling objects from falling damage. Domestic regulations require that forklifts with a lifting height greater than 1.8 meters need to be equipped with overhead guards. Some stackers we see daily do not have a top frame, so we need to pay attention. From a risk point of view, I recommend using a forklift with a roof when the lifting height is greater than the height of the operator.

Traffic warning lights: headlights, brake/steering/reversing indicator lights; forklift rearview mirror reversing buzzer fork positioning pin; forklift seat belt; forklift fire extinguisher; reversing radar, when reversing, the radar detects within 0.3-3 meters When there is an object, the buzzer will alarm. Blue light, when reversing or moving forward, the blue light will shine on the ground to remind pedestrians that a forklift is about to pass.
Electric forklift start-stop device: There are currently two forms: one is that only the driver is in the seat to start the forklift; the other is interlocked with the seat belt, and the forklift can only be started when the seat belt is fastened. Some manufacturers call it the seat OPS system
Electric forklift speed limit alarm: two parameters can be set. The first parameter is that the forklift will start alarming to remind you to pay attention to safety after speeding. Another parameter is that when the speed exceeds, it will alarm and prompt overspeed, and the forklift will be forced to decelerate.

Collision warning system: Forklift approaching collision warning system, bay blind zone collision warning system. Pedestrians approach the collision warning system. The collision warning system has different warning ranges according to the products of different manufacturers. The range of a pedestrian approach warning system of a certain manufacturer is: a circle with a forklift as the center and a radius of 13 meters.
Electric forklift approach collision warning system: It can be used in places where multiple forklifts are used and forklift operations in narrow aisles.
Blind area collision warning system: It can be applied to blind areas such as intersections, corners, entrances and exits.
Pedestrian approaching collision warning system: suitable for areas where personnel and forklifts cannot be separated. In addition, the safe distance between pedestrians and forklifts provides engineering control and improves the level of protection.
Driver management system: authorized personnel can start the forklift; mandatory pre-use inspection; collision and overspeed detection and alarm; seat belt use monitoring and alarm; driving monitoring records (collision records, speeding records, driver records, etc.)
Active stability control system for electric forklifts: including maximum speed limit, turning speed control, mast forward inclination angle control, and forward and backward inclination angle speed control.
