Proper maintenance cuts repair costs and extends equipment service life significantly. Today we will share how to maintain portable truck-mounted forklift and help your device stay in good condition for an extra 2 years.

    Lithium Battery Maintenance

Always use the original charger and charge the unit in a dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and rain. Do not cover the machine while charging to prevent heat buildup. Wipe dust and moisture off the battery regularly, and check if terminals are tightly connected. Deal with looseness, oxidation or overheating immediately to avoid short circuits.

If the equipment is left idle for a long time, recharge it every 15 days to keep the battery active. Recharge in time when the remaining power drops to 20%. Never drain the battery completely, as deep discharge will damage cells and reduce runtime.

    Hydraulic System Maintenance

Before operation, test the electric self-propelled elevating platform by lifting and lowering it 2 to 3 times with no load. Check cylinders, hoses and seals for oil leakage.

    Truck-mounted forklift maintenance

Monitor hydraulic oil level regularly and top up with matched fluid only. Replace deteriorated, contaminated oil and clean the tank when needed. Apply special grease on mast rails and chains to reduce friction for smooth and quiet movement.

Always work within the rated load capacity. Overloading and unbalanced loading will damage cylinders and seals. Lower the forks fully during long-term storage to release hydraulic pressure and slow seal aging.

The full electric self-elevating work platform delivers stable performance with standard upkeep. Feel free to contact us for more professional maintenance advice.
