Manual stackers play an important role when moving goods, but due to prolonged use, oil seal wear or cracks can lead to poor sealing, which can lead to problems such as oil leakage or tubing rupture. Timely replacement of oil seals can effectively solve these problems.

Manual stacker oil seal replacement steps

Remove the springs and brake screws at both ends of the cylinder.

Loosen the guide sleeves on both sides.

Remove the old seal.

Install a new oil seal.

NOTE: If the seal is aging and sticking to the cylinder or is deformed and difficult to remove, the seal can be soaked in boiling water for ten minutes to make it easier to remove.

Analysis of the causes of oil leakage from manual stacker cylinders

Seal Damage: Stem and body seals on manual hydraulic forklifts rely primarily on O-rings. If the seal is damaged, the hydraulic oil in the cylinder will flow out of the valve stem under pressure, resulting in oil leakage.

Broken parts: If some parts of the I-beam forklift are slightly damaged, small punctures, or fine seams, it will also cause oil leakage in the cylinder.

Oil seal too tight or aging: The oil seal is too tight or used for too long, and it is not checked and replaced in time, which will also cause the oil seal to lose its sealing effect, resulting in oil leakage.

summary

The problem of oil leakage from the manual forklift cylinder can be solved by replacing the oil seal. Regular inspection and maintenance, timely replacement of aging oil seals can effectively avoid oil leakage and prolong the service life of the stacker.
