The shedding of active substances on the positive plate is a common problem on the battery of the electric pallet jack, which may lead to a short circuit in serious cases. It shows that there is sediment in the electrolyte, and the brown substance in the electrolyte will rise from the bottom when charging. However, the voltage rises rapidly, the electrolyte boiling occurs earlier than the normal battery, and the charging time will be greatly shortened. This situation seems very good, but it actually reflects a big problem. Another performance is that the discharge capacity will drop significantly. There are several reasons for this phenomenon, usually three. The first reason is the poor quality of the plate. The second reason is that the charging and discharging current is too large and the electrode plate is distorted. The electric forklift manufacturer told us that the third reason is the vibration caused by the unstable battery and dragging.

There is also a very common problem on the battery of the electric pallet jack, that is, the positive grid frame is corroded. At this time, the electrode plate will show a rotten state, and the active substances will form blocks and accumulate between the two partitions, resulting in the reduction of battery capacity. There are three main reasons for this problem. The first reason is that the electrode plate of the battery is oxidized. The second reason is that the density of the electrolyte is too high. The third reason is that the charging and discharging current is too large or overcharged for a long time, resulting in the high temperature of the electrolyte. In order to prevent this problem, the electric forklift manufacturer recommends that you avoid overcharging as much as possible, monitor the temperature of the electrolyte during charging, and do not use the electrolyte with high relative density.
