The cleaning of the hydraulic system of the electric pallet jack should be determined based on the use of the forklift and the external environment. For continuously used electric pallet jack, it is generally necessary to clean them once every six months to a year; Forklifts that are not frequently used should be cleaned for an appropriate period of time. In practice, it is often combined with secondary maintenance of forklift, and the oil must be changed at the same time. Next, the pallet jack manufacturer will tell you the specific steps for cleaning the hydraulic system.

The first step is to completely drain the waste oil from the electric pallet jack. It is best to perform the cleaning at a high temperature. Before cleaning, disassemble a portion of the pipeline and some valves. Check the corrosion and dirt adhesion in the pipe and valve to determine the cleaning oil and cleaning time (select the upper limit if the pollution is serious, and select the lower limit if the pollution is not serious). Step 2: Select the cleaning oil. When the system pipeline oil tank is relatively clean, a slightly lower viscosity cleaning oil can be used for cleaning. Step 3: Heat the cleaning oil. Hot oil makes the attachments in the system easy to dissociate and fall off. Generally, it is heated to 50 ℃~60 ℃, and the cleaning pressure is 0.1MPa~0.2MPa. The pallet jack manufacturer reminds everyone that the cleaning oil flow rate should be as high as possible to facilitate the removal of dirt.
Step 4: Install an oil filter on the electric pallet jack. In the cleaning circuit, install the oil inlet 50 μ~ 100 μ Installation of primary oil filter and oil return port 10 μ~ 50u fine oil filter. Initially, perform coarse filtration, and then gradually switch to using a fine mesh oil filter for fractional filtration after washing for a period of time. The cleaning time is generally 8 hours to 24 hours. At the beginning, disassemble the oil filter for cleaning every half an hour, and gradually replace the oil filter (filter element) with fine mesh and extend the cleaning interval. For equipment with serious pollution, first clean it with a low viscosity oil that has a good washing effect, and then clean it with a cleaning oil with a viscosity similar to that of the used oil. The pallet jack manufacturer told everyone that the fifth step is to clean while tapping with a wooden hammer, which can accelerate the removal of dirt. The bending and welding parts of the pipeline should be hammered more frequently, but not too hard to avoid deformation and fracture of the pipe.

Step 6: Drain the cleaning oil from the electric pallet jack. After cleaning, drain the cleaning oil as far as possible, including the accumulated cleaning oil in pumps, valves, pipelines, etc. The pipeline can be loosened to drain oil, and compressed air can be used to purge or working oil can be added to remove the cleaning oil. Step 7: Add new working fluid. After the cleaning oil is removed, new hydraulic oil should be injected as soon as possible, and a short-term test run should be carried out immediately to avoid corrosion and other adverse effects in the pipeline. Some also use non-stop cleaning methods, that is, adding about 5% of the dedicated cleaning solvent to the oil during circulation. The pallet jack manufacturer told everyone that although this method is simple, adding cleaning agents will reduce the viscosity of the oil. At this time, we should add an appropriate amount of high viscosity oil.
