How to operate electric forklift correctly and precautions?

Electric forklifts are electrically driven. Compared with internal combustion forklifts, pallet lift trucks have the advantages of no pollution, easy operation, energy saving and high efficiency. With the development of the economy and the improvement of environmental protection and energy conservation requirements, electric forklifts have developed rapidly. The sales of pallet lift truck have increased year by year. Especially in the port, warehousing and tobacco, food, textile and other industries,  electric forklift are gradually replacing internal combustion forklifts.

First, the correct operation of pallet lift truck.

(1) Before the operation of the electric forklift, check the appearance of the pallet lift truck, and add fuel, lubricating oil and cooling water.

(2) Check whether the electric and audible signals of the electric forklift are complete and effective.

(3) Maintain an appropriate starting speed when the pallet lift truck starts, and should not be too aggressive.

(4) Pay attention to the voltage of the electric forklift voltmeter. If it is lower than the limit voltage, the pallet lift truck should stop running immediately.

(5) During the walking of the electric forklift, it is not allowed to pull the direction switch to change the direction of travel to prevent burning of electrical components and damage to the gears.

(6) It is not advisable to drive and lift the pallet lift truck at the same time.

(7) Pay attention to the drive system of the electric forklift. Whether the sound of the steering system is normal, it is necessary to eliminate the abnormal sound in time, and it is strictly forbidden to operate the pallet lift truck.

(8) When the electric forklift changes, it must be decelerated in advance.

(9) The fork should not be lifted too high when driving the pallet lift truck. When the electric forklift enters or leaves the operation site or during the journey, it is necessary to pay attention to the obstacles in the sky. When the pallet lift truck is driving, if the fork rises too high, it will increase the overall center of gravity of the forklift and affect the stability of the forklift.

(10) After unloading the electric forklift, the fork should be lowered to the normal driving position before driving.

(11) When the pallet lift truck forks the goods, the spacing between the two forks should be adjusted as needed to balance the load of the two forks. One side of the article should be placed against the shelf, and the weight of the fork should meet the requirements of the load center curve sign.

Second,Electric forklift precautions。

1. The weight of the cargo must be known before lifting. The weight of the cargo must not exceed the rated lifting capacity of the pallet lift truck.

2. When the electric forklift truck is lifting and packing the goods, it should be noted that the cargo wrapping is firm.

3. According to the size of the goods, adjust the fork spacing of the pallet lift truck, so that the goods are evenly distributed between the two forks to avoid eccentric load.

4. When the electric forklift truck is inserted into the cargo pile, the door frame should be tilted forward. After the cargo is loaded into the fork, the door frame should be tilted backwards so that the cargo is close to the fork wall and the cargo is lowered as much as possible before driving.

5. When the pallet lift truck lifts the cargo, it should generally be carried out in a vertical position.

6. When the electric forklift is manually loaded and unloaded, the hand brake must be used to stabilize the fork.

7.Pallet lift trucks are not allowed to operate at the same time.

8. When the electric forklift carries goods on a steep slope, pay attention to the firmness of the goods on the forks.
