Troubleshooting methods for electric forklift chargers

Manufacturers of electric forklift trucks generally inform the maintenance method of electric forklift chargers when the electric forklifts leave the factory. If there is a malfunction during use, then we can conduct a simple investigation first.
1. Common faults and maintenance methods of electric forklift chargers
1. The power indicator light is off, and the charging indicator light is off.
Repair method: Check whether the input power plug of the electric forklift charger is connected to the mains. You can plug the input plug of the forklift charger into an ordinary power socket for testing. If the situation persists, open the charger casing and observe the inside of the machine. Whether the fuse is broken, if it is not broken, first check whether the power input line is intact. After troubleshooting the power input line of the electric forklift, check whether the components on the circuit board near the high voltage area are welded and whether the fuse holder is in poor contact. Phenomenon, focus on checking whether the transformer T1, transistors V1, V2, etc. have false soldering. In addition, R5 or R6 open circuit can also cause the above-mentioned faults. If the fuse inside the machine is broken, be sure not to replace the large ampere fuse tube (the fuse tube of the charger is generally 2A), and focus on checking D1-D4, V1, V2, R4, R7, D15, D21 for damage. Damaged, you can choose the same model to replace. Please note that when the above components are damaged, one or two of them may be damaged at the same time, and sometimes more than one may be damaged at the same time. During maintenance, you need to check and replace these parts one by one before the electric forklift charger is powered on.

2. The electric forklift charger generates a large amount of heat and is accompanied by abnormal noise.
Repair method: The cause of the failure is damage to the output stage vibration-absorbing resistors R31 and C17. In addition, C12 open circuit or virtual welding can also cause the above-mentioned failures.
3. There is abnormal noise when the electric forklift charger is working, and the battery cannot be charged.
Repair method: check whether C8 on the circuit board is soldered or damaged. Generally replacing C8 can solve this problem.
