What are the correct methods and precautions for charging electric forklifts?

The electric forklift is an electric device with a battery as the energy source. The correct operation of the battery, charging, and maintenance are all basic operations to keep the electric forklift in good working condition.
We must pay attention to the method when charging the electric forklift. If this work is done in place, it will extend the service life of the electric forklift battery. Otherwise, it will accelerate the loss of the battery, causing the battery to eventually fail to work.
So what are the precautions for forklift charging?
First of all, we should pay attention to the battery power displayed on the electric forklift truckdisplay panel before starting the forklift or charging. The battery should be charged when there is still 20% power, and do not wait until the power is completely used up. Once the forklift battery is used up, it will not even be able to drive to the charging area. On the other hand, running out of electricity has a certain impact on battery life. Regardless of whether the forklift is powered or not, it is not advisable to charge the forklift battery regardless of whether the forklift has electricity or not. Under normal circumstances, the number of times the electric forklift truck battery is charged is about 1,400, and casual charging will directly reduce the battery life.
Secondly, the forklift must be charged with a charger that matches the forklift, otherwise it will seriously affect the service life of the battery or directly damage the battery.

In addition, the charger should be charged in a well-ventilated place, open the upper cover or take the battery out of the forklift. When charging the battery, it is best to open the cover and let it ventilate. Because the battery will produce combustible gas and hydrogen during the charging process, it is never allowed to expose the battery to an open flame. This easily formed explosive gas may cause a fire, causing property damage and personal injury. And it is strictly forbidden to smoke near the battery, and it is strictly forbidden to produce any flame or spark. When storing or charging the battery, it must be in a well-ventilated place, but not at the exhaust port to avoid corrosion caused by acid mist.

When charging, the plug of the charger and the socket of the power cord must be inserted in place. If it is not inserted in place and the contact is only a little, it will cause a large resistance, and an excessive resistance may easily cause burning.
If you need to use a electric forklift truck if the battery is not fully charged, you must first turn off the charger switch, otherwise the power will flow back, which will easily burn the charger computer board.
In addition to the above precautions, the usual care of the battery is to pay attention to the battery clean. Pay attention to the charging time.
