What problems of electric forklift should we pay attention to in winter?
As we all know, the power of electric forklift comes from the battery. Different from diesel forklift, it is a kind of forklift that depends on electricity for operation. Many people have experienced a sharp drop in cell phone power or even a sudden loss of power in the cold winter, and others may have encountered the problem of insensitive cell phone response. Like mobile phones, electric forklifts are likely to have many problems in winter due to low temperatures. So, what should we pay attention to when using electric forklifts in winter to avoid these problems as much as possible? The electric forklift manufacturer will give you some suggestions.

First of all, in order to overcome the temperature factor, we must pay attention to the distilled water in the electric forklift battery. The battery will consume power faster in winter because of lower temperature. To ensure the battery has lasting power, distilled water cannot be in short supply. If the distilled water is found to be insufficient, it must be added in time, preferably after the battery is fully charged to avoid electrolyte overflow. This can not only ensure the normal working efficiency, but also extend the battery life. The electric forklift manufacturer reminded that the liquid level of the battery should be checked frequently, which is very important to ensure that the battery can work normally in winter.
In winter, when the temperature is low, the ion reaction speed in the battery of the electric forklift will slow down, so the battery will take longer to charge and consume more power than in other seasons. Don't worry too much about this. However, we can shorten the charging time of the battery by keeping it warm. Not only that, keeping warm also ensures that the battery will not freeze. In addition, clean the battery. This should be noted at all times, not only in winter. The electric forklift manufacturer told us that this could avoid the self discharge of the battery caused by dust or electrolyte adhering to the battery surface, which would affect the normal use.

In winter, especially in the north, the battery of electric forklift is very fragile, which requires more attention and maintenance from the driver. If the battery needs to be placed for a long time, it must be placed in a relatively warm place, and it must be charged regularly to prevent the battery from freezing and shorten its life. The electric forklift manufacturer reminded that if the temperature is too low, the battery will inevitably freeze. You must wait for the ice to melt before charging, otherwise the battery may explode, threatening the safety of the driver.
