How long is the battery life of an electric forklift? How to maintain?
The battery of electric forklifts generally has 800-1500 recharges, and the service life is between 1-5 years. In addition to the brand and product quality, the service life mainly depends on the use environment, frequency of use, and proper maintenance of the battery. Among them, the use environment and frequency of use may not be easy to change and control, so let's start with battery maintenance.

The maintenance of the battery is mainly divided into several contents:
1. The initial charging of the electric forklift is very important, it directly affects the rated capacity of the electric forklift. Therefore, warehouse electric forklift manufacturers will charge customers fully before the forklift leaves the factory. One is to ensure that customers can use the forklift as soon as they receive it. Save time for customers. But to prevent customers from neglecting this detail and causing damage.
2. When the battery power shows 20%, it must be customized and charged to avoid irreversible power feeding damage caused by excessive battery power.
3. Try to avoid excessive charging and discharging of electric forklift batteries. Of course, our original factory-configured chargers are protected against overcharging, so there is generally no overcharging.
4. Charge the electric forklift in time after use, and do not use it when the battery is insufficient, and the storage time should not exceed 24 hours when the battery is insufficient.
5. Pay attention to the state of the electrolyte of the electric forklift when using it. Generally, the water evaporates quickly in summer. Our customer service will promptly remind customers to check the electrolyte level according to their purchases.
6. The density of the electrolyte should be checked regularly during the use of the battery (the density of the electrolyte is 1.280±0.005g/cm3, 30℃ in the case of sufficient power), if not, it needs to be adjusted.

7. If the electric forklift is not used for a long time, it needs to be charged once a month.
8. For forklifts that have not been used for a long time and have not been charged according to the regulations, or have been used for 2-3 months, the electric forklift manufacturer will recommend the customer to perform a balanced charge.
9. The surface of the battery should be kept clean and dry. Do not touch open flames.
10. The battery electrolyte measuring tool should be kept clean to ensure that no debris can fall into the battery.
11. Do not place any conductive objects on the battery to avoid short-circuiting the battery, causing bad sectors or explosion.
12. Pay attention to the charging environment of the electric forklift, keep it cool, ventilated, and away from open flames.
